Digby Finds His Forever Home After Rocky Start

A young Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross named Digby has finally found his forever home after spending his early months in less-than-ideal conditions. The eight-month-old pup had been crated in a garage and left to cry for hours in his previous home, according to volunteers at Congleton Dog Rescue, who rescued him and placed him into foster care.

Digby’s story is a mix of heartbreak and hope — a reminder of the vital work local animal rescues do every day.

Early Struggles

When Digby first arrived at the rescue, he was wary but eager to please. Volunteers quickly noticed his affectionate nature and intelligence despite the rough start. Already crate trained and house trained, Digby adapted well to foster life, enjoying interactions with both humans and other dogs.
